Dear teachers, students, alumni and friends,

The universal order turns, and the four seasons renew. At this wonderful moment of bidding farewell to the old and ushering in the new, we, on behalf of the Party Committee and Administration of the College, extend our warmest holiday greetings and New Year wishes to all faculty, staff, retired colleagues, alumni, and friends from all walks of life who have long cared about and supported the development of our college.

As the year 2025 draws to a close, against the backdrop of the whole nation striving to advance socialist modernization and successfully concluding the undertakings of the 14th Five-Year Plan, our college has practiced the people-centered philosophy of educational development, coordinated the integrated development of education, science and technology, and human resources. All faculty and staff have forged ahead with fortitude, pressed forward with courage, pursued development at a high level, and achieved fruitful outcomes.

This year, we stood firm in our beliefs, making "Era of SITC" reach new heights. We thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and comprehensively strengthened Party building. We conducted in-depth study and education on implementing the central government's eight-point regulations, ensuring high-quality development of the college with fine work styles. Taking the inspection and rectification as an opportunity, we addressed weaknesses and shortcomings, transforming rectification achievements into conscious actions to overcome difficulties. From the strategic planning of the 15th Five-Year Plan to the in-depth advancement of comprehensive strict governance of the Party, from the construction of “Double High-level” vocational colleges to the performance evaluation of high-quality development, we have continuously promoted the resonance between Party building and business operations. The college was awarded the “Outstanding School Award” in the 9th Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Awards.

This year, we took firm steps, making "Craftsmanship of SITC"  initiative gained even greater momentum. We deeply cherished the "student-centered" philosophy, actively promoted the reform of talent cultivation programs, and forged high-level professional clusters with the original aspiration of "serving well and supporting well". All teaching units collaborated closely, implementing the college's initiatives such as "Seven Integrations" and "Three Follow-ups" into the practice of "providing education satisfying the people". We attained 2 projects from the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Program, 4 textbooks were selected into the second batch of the "14th Five-Year Plan" National Vocational Education Planning Textbooks, and won 1 first prize in the Provincial Vocational College Teaching Ability Competition, along with a series of other honors. Behind every achievement is the persistent dedication and mission of the faculty in cultivating talents with craftsmanship.

This year, we united as one, making "Youthful SITC" brand shine more brightly. 4254 freshmen with youthful dreams, embarked on a journey of growth with SITC, chasing the light together. We deeply cultivated the fertile soil of vocational education, comprehensively summarized the achievements of the "433" Student Talent Development Project, built campus cultural and artistic brands, and enhanced the educational effectiveness of the "One-Stop" student community. Our students achieved remarkable results in competitions: winning 2 gold and 2 silver medals at the World Vocational College Skills Competition, creating a historical record, and achieving excellent results in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, "Challenge Cup" competitions, etc. The demeanor of youth blooms in the pursuit of excellence!

This year, we have embraced openness and cooperation, deepening the “Integration of SITC”. We have taken the initiative to build an "overpass" for the integration of industry and education, successfully hosting the Second Council Conference and the Industry-Education Integration Development Conference. We have carried out in-depth cooperation with leading enterprises such as Sheng Hong Group and Taihu Snow, fostering 5 municipal-level excellent industrial (enterprise) colleges, and the ecosystem for collaborative talent cultivation between schools and enterprises has been continuously optimized. Upholding the concept of open education, the brand influence of "Study in SITC" has continued to rise. We have been Selected as one of the recommended projects for the Ministry of Education's "Youth Ambassador Exchange and Learning Program" and added 3 new source countries for international students. SITC is gradually becoming a new window to showcase the elegance of Chinese vocational education.

This year, we have worked diligently, making "Happiness of SITC" even warmer. We have always kept the urgent concerns and needs of teachers and students at heart. The round-the-clock hot water supply in student dormitories and the operation of smart takeaway lockers have warmed everyone's hearts. Smart teaching equipment has empowered classroom innovation, and the newly installed air conditioners in teaching buildings and training buildings have brought comfort and ease. The upgraded security system and the positive and uplifting campus culture have strengthened our confidence. We have smoothed channels for appeals, built an open and inclusive campus governance structure, and was selected as a "Outstanding School in Modernization of Higher Vocational Education Governance" in 2025.

The achievement of these results is inseparable from the joint efforts, unity and forge-ahead spirit of all SITC faculty and students, and even more so from the care and support of leaders at all levels, all sectors of society and the vast number of alumni. Hereby, we would like to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt respect to all of you!

The past year has unfolded a splendid tapestry of achievements, and the new year will see us scale even greater heights. The year 2026 marks the opening year of the college's "15th Five-Year" development plan.We will always take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as our guidance, fully implement the Party's educational policy, strive to open up a new situation in the development of vocational education, and contribute more SITC strength from to building Jiangsu into a province strong in education!
